Abstract

The quantum criticality in heavy fermion materials was discussed. A growing body of evidence suggested that the quantum critical behavior at the onset of magnetism in heavy fermion systems could not be understood in terms of a simple quantum spin density wave. The origin of the mass divergence at the heavy fermion quantum critical point was discussed. The proposal of fundamentally latest kinds of quantum critical point were also reviewed.
